Overall it was very impressive to honor Giuseppe Verdi on his birthday.
Nevertheless it was a pity that the Italian people and moreover the politicians were not able to arrange an appropriate ceremony! There should be numerous musicians who could have joined this date and performed at least a musical tribute to Verdi. They live from Verdi´s music!
Shameful
We are a Swedish couple and we were in Roncole on the same day as you, the 10th October.

We appreciate your beautiful flower arrangements both in Roncole and in Parma, at the Verdi monuments.
The Italians seemed to have forgotten their great son who has given their country and the whole world, such a beautiful music.
